Asha Dewan brings a wide range of client-centric, financial services industry experience to her new role

Advicent, an industry-leading provider of financial planning technology, has named Asha Dewan to be the firm’s vice president of partner experience. In this crucial role, she will oversee the company’s Partner Experience Program along with the global support and professional services teams while reporting to Chief Operating Officer Anthony Stich.

“Advicent is committed to delivering scalable solutions and a superior experience to advisors so they can help clients reach their financial goals,” Stich said. “Asha has a wide range of client relations and programming adoption skills that make her an ideal leader for our partner support teams.”

Dewan’s strong background in relationship management and client experience meshes seamlessly with the Advicent commitment to providing superior service and support for all financial professionals who use the company’s scalable financial planning software. Having started her career in client-facing roles and working her way up to a number of senior management positions where she formalized customer-advocacy programming, Dewan is equipped with a unique perspective that will further refine the Advicent partner experience.

Most recently, Dewan served as vice president, retail sales manager for Bank Mutual in Milwaukee where her accomplishments included the creation of a client-focused conversation model, a coaching methodology, and several reimagined financial product suites. Her deep subject-matter expertise makes her well attuned to both the needs of front-office representatives as well as the back-office protocols that optimize profitability for large financial institutions.

“I’m thrilled to join Advicent at such an exciting time for the organization when we’re at the cusp of so many innovations,” Dewan said. “I’m looking forward to helping our team guide customers through these new enhancements and driving our technology forward.”

Those new enhancements include a recently unveiled retirement planning experience for the flagship Advicent financial planning application, NaviPlan®. Arriving later this year, the advanced functionality will better enable advisors to begin retirement conversations with minimal initial fact-finding. This is the first of many streamlined planning workflows that the software provider will be bringing to market. Advicent is also planning to release a top-to-bottom modernization of its user interface during the second quarter of this year.
